So Chocolate Bar! That is what young 7 year old Dylan Siegel uses to describe what's awesome. It's also the title of his book, written by him, to raise money to save his best friend, Jonah Pournazarian. Jonah has a rare liver disease, GSD 1B (GSD = Glycogen storage disease), which has no cure.

Dylan's goal of raising $1 million has now reached more than $500,000.00. All the money raised will be used fund a research lab at University of Florida, where GSD expert Dr. David Weinstein is working on seeking a cure for GSD. You can learn more about the GSD research by following this video link.

In Dylans word, this is so Chocolate Bar! It's mind-blowing to me the 7 year old can come with a such an idea and have the persistence to follow through on his ideas. And you have to give credit to the parents for also going along and supporting Dylan in bringing his idea to fruition.

It really goes to show, if you put your mind on achieving something, like saving your best friend, it doesn't matter how young or old you need to be. Watch the video below to see the So Chocolate Bar Best Friends!

You can go to their website ChocolateBarBook.com to learn more about the so chocolate bar Dylan & Jonah's story.

Let's all hope we will get to see more kids like Dylan coming up with more ideas to the solutions of the problems in this world and also having the same persistence like Dylan to go do what it takes. Again, this is just So Chocolate Bar!
